From a conversation with friends I realised we were all looking for the same thing, but not one brand stood out. We wanted a brand focused on luxury twinned with nature but formulated and proven by scientists for serious age prevention. We also had a long 'free from' list with NO synthetic fragrances, parabens, mineral oils, silicones, sulphates, propylene glycol, phthalates, GMO, PEGs, TEA, DEA and certainly no animal testing.

My mission from that day on was to find the very best people to help me create this 'dream' brand. I started with my own formulations team and shortly after this, Aurelia Probiotic Skincare was born.

I am all about the science but I can't let go of nature. There is nothing better in our busy, stressful lives than to enjoy uplifting botanical blends when going through our skincare routine. Quite simply, it's a piece of luxury every day.

On my recent travels to explore new botanicals, which we source from all over the world, we filmed in an African village in Lake Malawi. Locals were harvesting Omega-rich Baobab and skin-firming Kigelia Africana for Aurelia Probiotic Skincare. To see first-hand how difficult and time-consuming the harvesting process was helped me to understand just how lucky we are to be able to use these special botanicals from some of the most remote areas of the world. It was heart-warming to see how enthusiastically the community worked together and I loved meeting the women whose lives have benefited from the additional income they now earn. THE SCIENCE BIT

Now you know what Aurelia Probiotic Skincare is all about: natural, scientific and luxury skincare that offers real results in a fast and effective way (without costing a complete fortune). Within the launch range there are the everyday necessities women in their late 20s/early 30s will be used to using: a twice-daily cleanser and a day and a night moisturiser. We have also developed two products to help give a boost to an age prevention routine: a serum and a facial oil. In your 30s your skin often needs rebalancing, with surging hormones causing occasional eruptions. I believe the root cause of nearly all skin issues is UV and environmental stress which can lead to inflammation. Aurelia Probiotic Skincare's probiotic technology and repair complex developed by a leading biotech works in synergy to help prevent ageing and achieve radiant skin. Immune modulatory glycoproteins from bifido bacteria generate and moderate targeted impulses within the skin to balance stress-damaged skin and stabilise the skin's defence system helping to control the level of inflammation within our skin. They work by protecting the skin against excessive levels of cytokines which are produced in response to stresses such as excessive exposure to UV light.
